In 2009, we initiated - Premium Fruit Business - section in response to synergy of our group and market demand of high-quality fruit products. Our goal is to deliver quality fresh fruits and processed fruit products to our customers.Our main supply of fruits is from another affiliated company, Thakolsri Farm. Certified by GLOBALG.A.P. Fruit and Vegetables associated with crop production since Mar 2008, the farm handles variety of fruits including mango, rose apple, banana, tamarind, coconut, etc. Having full control from farm to finished product is our major advantage where we can ensure the consistency of our products, both quantity and taste. Quality First is always core principle of Biolab and our in-depth experience from pharmaceutical industry in areas of quality and process control will be beneficial for the productions of fruit business. In addition, we have been working together with renowned experts in the agricultural sector, as well as ISO22000 specialists, to ensure the standard compliance in every process, from raw material to finished product.We plan to enhance our product quality by applying advanced technologies, such as sweetness sorting, shelf-life extension and ripeness prediction, to our fresh fruit products. We can also apply our extensive knowledge in pharmaceutical area to the development of processed food products; for example the addition of selective vitamin/mineral/extracts into mango in syrup, etc. A number of possibilities can be initiated using our company synergy.Our first project is a new fruit-sorting factory with the expected investment of $4 million USD. The entire facilities will be fully qualified with international standards, including ISO 22000, and can be expanded to cover our future productions of processed fruit products.
